About Us

On this page we will describe our background and philosophy.

Our Mission

The goal of this tour is to promote Racketlon in Canada.  This is a fun and enjoyable sport because you get to play in many different facets, challenging yourself in all aspects of the sports.  From young to old, Racketlon tailors to all your needs from Junior to Senior categories.  Overall, the goal of the Canadian tour is to hold specific Racketlon events to satisfy the demands for it all over Canada.

Our History

Our tour was inspired by Hans Mullamaa, the founder and first President of the IRF as well as the creator of the FIR Racketlon World Tour. After the success of many racketlon tournaments internationally, the Canadian Open also proved to be successful.  Many enthusiasts joined from all over Canada to play in Toronto with over 70 players in the tournament.  Not one person left without a desire to play in another tournament.  This is what inspired individuals from all over Canada to begin their own tournaments.  Stephane Cadiex organizes the Canadian Open in Toronto.  Steven Mikovich organizes the Ottawa RA tournament.  Rodrigue Bedard organizes the Montreal Open.  Lastly, Dean Gillis organizes the Pacifc Rim Open in Victoria.  These four events are pinnacle to the Canadian tour.  This is the basic history behind the Racketlon tour in Canada and we want to share it.  As each year passes more people join in on it.  Who knows, you may be next?
